The importance of the renewable energy technology field has been growing very significantly since the beginning of the 21st century and will continue throughout this century. Japan is initiating a new international technical conference titled “Renewable Energy 2006.” The Renewable Energy 2006 Organizing Committee, founded through the cooperation of academia, industry and the Japanese government, is organizing this conference. It is also internationally coorganized with the International Solar Energy Society, as one of its external supported conferences.
At this important time in history, you are invited to contribute to the progress of renewable energy technologies. This international conference will be held at Makuhari Messe in Chiba Prefecture from October 9 – 13, 2006. Quite close to the Tokyo Disney Resort along Tokyo Bay, Makuhari Messe is a short distance from Tokyo and Narita International Airport. People from around the world with a sincere interest in renewable energy will gather here to discuss technological developments and the creation of sustainable, renewable energy markets. The Organizing Committee sincerely believes that “Renewable Energy 2006” will provide an excellent opportunity for those in attendance to make an invaluable contribution to our planet by forming proposals to establish an ideal “New Energy System for the 21st century.”
