The focus of the workshop will be on challenges on the way to the industrialisation of the MWT approach and on examples for a successful transfer to mass production. Material issues concerning module assembly will be also discussed in detail.
The MWT Workshop provides an overview of the current status and latest developments in metal wrap through (MWT) solar cell and module technology. The strong points of the MWT concept are: higher cell and module output, easier manufacture and the ability to use thinner cells.
